Srinagar, November 27:

Senior APHC Leader and Jammu Kashmir salvation movement Chairman, Zaffer Akbar Bhat today visited Nagam badiepora and chari-e-sharife areas of Pulwama district and interacted with a number of delegations. He was accompanied by senior party leaders including Showket Ahmad, Fayaz aHmad, Beigh Aijaz and Umar Mukhtar of the area.

Addressing gatherings in the area, Zaffer criticized India for planning to erecting a wall on LOC and termed the India’ s plan violation of United Nations resolutions which form the legal base of Kashmir conflict. He said that Kashmir is internationally acknowledged and accepted dispute which needs to be resolved as per the aspirations of Kashmiri people which can only guarantee peace in South Asia.

Zaffer appealed United Nations to intervene while terming the time most favorable for them as the India is disrespecting the passed resolutions and international laws.
He also criticized state government for not taking an interest in tracing the teenage boy of Pulwama who has gone missing since from past days in Delhi, where he was with his father.
Zaffer said that he talked to the family of Roman Amin Ganie of Jandwal Pulwama and expressed sympathy with them. He said that it the primary responsibility of local authorties to find out the missing as they know that nobody from Kashmir is safe in any other part of India.

“It seems state government hasn’t learned from the past killings and murders, so I appeal local authorities to help the family in tracing out the missing boy.” He said.

Zaffer Akbar also justified the protest of Kashmir University students against the shooting of bollywood film inside the camps and said that films can’t heal the wounds of Kashmiri people neither can’t change the mindset of kashmiri youths. He said that it is understood from the past that Indian cinema has never projected Kashmir freedom struggle in right perspective.

He said that it is the bollywood who are trying hard to defame the peaceful protest of Kashmiri youths. He appealed common masses to continue their support and love for the freedom by one or the other means.
